Well, they say March comes in like a Lion, and out like a Lamb... But I feel like it was just a few days ago March. As we're moving into warm, or should I say HOT crazy weather, we're in full swing. It's been a few since we've posted, and we've been just maxed out on projects, work, among other things. We have so many projects going it's really hard to keep up. Right now, we're working on:

  • A New Goat Pen Enclosure and Awning

  • Geese Production

  • New Bird Houses

  • Hatchery Upgrades and Cooling System

  • Pig Pen Re-Wire

  • Perimeter Fencing on entire property

  • Bird Viewing Chick Area for Public pick-ups and play pen

  • Rabbit Pen with friendly rabbits

Ok, this list will bore you to death If I kept t going, or the browser would hang trying to load it all. So we just put our top items up.

Oh but the pool is ready. Priorities!

Our Crop has been planted! We've planted [Insert every garden item just about here] and it's off to a great start. We've planted our first run, and second run staggered plants have just sprouted. One problem with having such a large plot to plant in, is that its ALOT of food to capture, save, store etc. So we plant in stages, or stagger the planting to keep a moderate but useful production of food. So far though, this is really neat experience. We're either really crazy, or on to something. It should be noted we are not experts in the field... "Finally, that pun fits!" However, we are working with experts who have way more experience than we do, and so we have advisors. Otherwise, I just reflect on that last Ikea furniture project.. best to have some help!

Everything is turning green! Finally, grass that doesn't look like we live on the moon. We happy to report tours are still going, and this is the best time to come. It's not

too hot, and definitely not too cold. We're currently planting many flowers around the property to add more color. We've also started Pussy Willow Tree's that will line our secondary gate and access road about every 15 feet down for about 250ft. This will look cool... I hope.. in 10 years? We'll see.

In other news, WE HAVE CHICKS, and some pullets available. We know you want more!! :-)

Just ask. We're also offering some free delivery to select areas. Even as far as Wilmington! Text our

office line 252-349-0664 PICS and we'll send you pictures of the latest batch of hatchings!
