Hey Animals Fans! We're back with more blog posts. Please excuse our absence while we have had our heads buried in work, life and feed! We hope everyone has been well! It seems like Summer is trying to sneak in finally, and that means heat, bugs, and everything that comes along with what feels like Amazon Rain-forest for us each year. So here's what the latest things of our wild adventure called Farming and Feed Life!

The Feed Store is doing

great! We're on the hunt for a new building in Maysville. Some of you may have heard we've been in talks with the Old Dollar General building. We have! They have been super nice, and we're still in discussions about all the details, and we're hopeful! This would be a huge opportunity for us. We'd have more than enough space to bring in more products and more inventory. Right now, you guys are buying us out every week, and we're so very thankful for that, but we need more space to keep up with you guys! We'll keep everyone posted on the progress of this.
We'll also be introducing a new distributor into the mix! That's right, we're also cooking up a new line of products that will fit in nicely if we do in-fact get the old DG building. Don't worry, our primary feed producer is still going to be Coker Feed Mill, after-all, they are our most prideful products and a huge part of bringing the most affordable and fresh livestock feed this side of the Mississippi River. But we've heard the cries to get other products, and we're jumping into to action. We're imagining some pretty big things! Stay tuned for more info on this one!
Speaking of Maysville! Here's the yearly community events just in case

Bullseye getting some love!
As animals begin to enter the spring and summer months, feed changes quite a bit. Don't forget to supplement grass fed animals with the proper nutrients and feed to go along with it.
We have a new Ultra Low Starch formula that has been flying off the shelves for horses! I am told the formula rivals some $40.00 horse feeds, and is low sugar, low starch, very healthy.

"A complete-fiber, high performance feed that delivers high caloric-density, balanced amino acids and omega fatty-acids, top-of-market micro fortifications, while also boasting a combined NSC rating among the lowest on the market. This highly palatable textured blend is the latest innovation in the Amber Grains line, offering superior nutrition for sensitive, metabolic, or senior horses, while also providing this broad and superlative nutrition at a price point that’s affordable for the whole barn. -CFM"

Here's some fun videos from around the farm. We appreciate everyone who supports us, and as always, thankful for you. Reach out for any questions or just to say hi!
If everyone remembers March 12, 2026, a Tornado ripped through Maysville NC around 2:30pm. We got the alert on our phone with about 3 minutes notice. Our gate cam caught the mayhem. The tornado passed through about a few thousand feet away from this camera located one our entry gates. Sadly, it passed through a few neighbors properties and destroyed property. Thankfully however no-one was hurt, and everyone from what i know was safe. It's still hard on people to loose buildings and structures. We were lucky and had minor debris but others we're not as lucky.
Here is Bessy! All grown up and just a big grass puppy. She is doing so great, and everyone loves her. She's become the main attraction around here.
Remember that time we all got a strange case of the Blizzard in town? Yea, what in the world. 14-16 inches we got! What a crazy event. Here's some fun videos from the Snowpacalypse that eastern NC hadn't seen in over 2 or 3 decades.
Bullseye just having fun!
