July 2023 Updates!

Happy Sunday!

We've been so busy with the farm and work, we've managed to slip away from posting updates! As we move steady through July, the temperature is not slowing down, but we sure are!

Things are nice and pretty, but almost impossible to enjoy them in the heat! I actually should say the humidity. It's just horrible. I can't say though I remember growing up through this type of heat. Maybe we just didn't notice?

EGG PRODUCTION:

We've slowed down quite a bit. The heat is also affecting our birds and our water bill! We have constant mist devices spraying all day. Almost all the birds have put a pause on giving us some eggs. We've changed their food again to see if this helps, sometimes a nice change is all they need. Due to this, our population is running low for sales. (That and everyone buying them up-Thankyou!)

We expect like clockwork, to pick back up around the end of August as the season begins a visual change, the birds will notice.

PIGS:

We have pigs for sale! Mention you saw this blog post in July 2023, and get piglets at a coupon price! By 3 or more, and we'll only charge you $50.00 (normally $65-95)
